Here's the second half of my 2 way Valentines Day Breakfast Idea series. Re-use the left over bread from the Nutella & Strawberry French Toast recipe to make a savoury Egg and Cheese Toastie! Perfect Valentine's Day Breakfast for those without a sweet tooth ☺️ Ingredients: 1 egg 2 slices of bread 4 slices of mozzarella (or cheese of your choice) Butter Pinch of Pepper and Basil Method 1. Butter one slice of bread 2. Place 4 slices of mozzarella around the edges of the bread 3. Place slice of bread with heart shape cut out on top 4. Crack egg in the heart shape 5. Top with butter, pepper and basil 6. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes at 350f (175c) 7. Serve immediately Note: This recipe makes 1 serving. Double the measurements to serve 2.
