Nothing says “I love you” more than a delicious cooked breakfast! In this recipe I will be showing you how to make a heart shaped french toast stack, filled with Nutella and strawberries. This could also work as a perfect Valentines Day Dessert. Ingredients: 1 egg 50ml cup of milk Pinch of cinnamon 3 slices of bread 1 stick of butter Nutella 4 Strawberries Method: 1. Combine your eggs, milk and cinnamon in a shallow dish with a whisk 2. Use cookie cutter to cut heart shapes out of bread 3. Soak bread in egg mix (both sides) 4. Heat a stick of butter in a frying pan on a medium heat 5. Fry both sides of bread for 2-3 mins until golden brown 6. In between each layer of your french toast stack, spread a layer of Nutella and top with strawberries. 7.Dust with icing sugar and serve immediately. Note: This recipe makes 1 serving of french toast (3 layer stack). Double the measurements to serve 2.
